1. What this document is

This is the reference implementation guide for the Peconaqri Cell — the specific implementation of the Open PMC Protocol developed by Peconaq Inc. using the Game of Life, NPC/PC, and Cube of Life as its pedagogical vocabulary.

It is a companion to the Open PMC Protocol Reference Specification (at peconaq.org). That document defines the universal open standard. This document defines what Peconaqri specifically looks like when that standard is implemented with Peconaqri's own vocabulary and resources.

Peconaqri is one richly developed reference implementation of the Open PMC Protocol — the most complete implementation currently publicly documented — shared freely so that communities who find this vocabulary useful can use it, adapt it, and build on it without starting from scratch.

Minimum Viable Peconaqri: For communities beginning their first cell, the essential starting point is four elements: the NPC/PC distinction as the Learning Framework Slot, the Cube of Life as the Whole-Life Success Profile, the Quest cycle as the learning structure, and a single AI assistant configured for both learner support and Organisation Brain functions. Everything else — the Peconaqri Trio, PLIF, the full four-agent architecture — is added as the cell matures. Start simple. Add depth when the basic cycle is established and working.

2. The relationship between the Peconaqri Cell and the Open PMC Protocol

The critical distinction

The Open PMC Protocol is the open standard — worldview-neutral, freely adoptable by any community in their own vocabulary, published at peconaq.org under CC BY 4.0.

The Peconaqri Cell is one specific implementation of that protocol — using Game of Life, NPC/PC, and Cube of Life as its pedagogical vocabulary. It is one richly developed reference design, shared under CC BY-SA 4.0.

Think of the Open PMC Protocol as the architectural blueprint. The Peconaqri Cell is one building designed to those specifications. A Muslim community, a Buddhist cell, a government school — all can build from the same blueprint using their own authentic vocabulary. Peconaqri is one way. It is not the only way.

A community that uses Peconaqri resources is a Tier 2 operator. A community that implements the Open PMC Protocol in their own vocabulary without using Peconaqri resources is a Tier 1 operator. A community that carries the Peconaqri brand mark through a formal affiliation agreement is a Tier 3 operator. See Section 9.

3. The Peconaqri vocabulary

Peconaqri fills the Open PMC Protocol's Learning Framework Slot — the open container every cell must fill with an authentic vocabulary for the drift/awakening distinction — with the Game of Life, NPC/PC, and Cube of Life language.

On NPC/PC language: NPC (Non-Player Character) and PC (Player Character) are terms borrowed from video game culture and used as pedagogical metaphors — NPC Mode describes the state of unconscious, reactive living; PC Mode describes conscious, examined, intentionally chosen living. This is not metaphysical language — it is not merely decorative either. In a Peconaqri Cell, the learner explicitly names the shift from passive drift to active agency. NPC Mode describes a temporary state, not a type of person. No learner is labelled "an NPC." The language is used for self-recognition and self-awareness, not for judging others.

Waking Up: The learner explicitly moves from NPC to PC mode (NPC = Non-Player Character, the default state of unconscious drift; PC = Player Character, the state of conscious, examined living). This is not merely decorative language — in a Peconaqri Cell, the learner names this shift explicitly, in whatever form feels genuine for this cell's culture. "I am choosing to be here as a player, not a passenger" is one formulation. The learner's own words are better.

Quest Seed: The learner identifies a genuine question they want to pursue. "Why does my city flood in the rainy season when it didn't fifty years ago?" "Why do some languages write right to left and others left to right?" "How does a song go viral, and what determines whether it stays popular?" The Quest Seed is a genuine question, not a school topic.

Bootcamp: The learner acquires what they need to pursue the Quest — academic content, research skills, practical competencies. The PAT supports academic content mastery. National curriculum requirements, where they apply, are covered here — inside a framework of purpose.

The Quest: The learner does the active work — researching, building, experimenting, making, iterating. The PQT supports Quest navigation. The mentor circulates and asks questions. The Quest Journal captures significant findings.

Quest Presentation: The learner presents to their cell group — what they investigated, what they found, what failed, what they would do differently. This is proof of genuine learning, not performance for a grade.

Quest Debrief: The learner and mentor reflect — what was learned about the subject, about the learner's own thinking, about who they are becoming as a player. The PLN captures the interior dimension. The Reflection closes the cycle and seeds the next Quest Seed.

5. The Whole-Life Success Profile — six faces of the Cube of Life

The Cube of Life is Peconaqri's account of what a complete human life looks like. It has six faces, each representing a dimension of genuine flourishing. A Peconaqri Cell cultivates growth across all six — not as equal requirements, but as dimensions that a complete human life eventually addresses.

Face 1
Self-Expression

The ability to make things that matter — projects, artefacts, ideas, practices — that express the learner's genuine understanding and perspective. Self-expression is not performance; it is the outward evidence of an inner life that has been genuinely engaged.

Face 2
Health

The learner's physical and mental wellbeing — the energy, stability, and bodily capacity that make everything else possible. Health is the precondition for all other faces: a learner who cannot sustain their physical and mental health cannot build anything lasting in any other dimension of life.

Face 3
Relationships

The quality of the learner's relationships — family, friends, mentor, cell peers. The capacity for genuine connection rather than performed sociality, and the ability to navigate the Community domain with care and skill.

Face 4
Prosperity

The capacity to navigate economic life with competence and ethical grounding — understanding how money, value, and economic systems work, and building financial security as a foundation for a generous and sustainable life.

Face 5
Community Legacy

The learner's contribution to their community — what they build, give, and leave for others. The generational dimension: how this life serves the next.

Face 6
Nature Stewardship

The learner's relationship with the natural world — awareness of ecological interdependence and the practice of responsible stewardship across the arc of a life.

A Peconaqri Cell's mentor and learners design their Whole-Life Success Profile together at the beginning of each year — defining what growth looks like in each face for this specific learner, at this age and stage. The profile is explicit, personal, and revisited in every Quest Debrief. Growth across all six faces is assessed qualitatively through the learner's Quest Journal, mentor observations, and the learner's own self-reflection — not through numerical scoring. The profile is a mirror, not a scorecard.

6. The Peconaqri AI toolkit — PAT, PQT, PLN, PLA

The Peconaqri AI toolkit implements the Open PMC Protocol's recommended four-agent architecture. This is the Tier 2 and Tier 3 standard. Tier 1 operators implementing in their own vocabulary may configure equivalent functions using different names.

Personal Academic Tutor

Supports academic learning and curriculum content. Holds the learner's subject knowledge history and tracks mastery. Session summaries saved to the Learning Progress document. Accessible to the Organisation Brain (PLA).

PQT
Personal Quest Tutor

Supports Quest navigation across all phases. Holds the Quest Seed and tracks the Quest narrative. Session summaries saved to the Quest Journal. Accessible to the Organisation Brain (PLA).

PLN — Private
Personal Life Navigator

Supports personal reflection and life direction. Holds the learner's interior life — their Cube of Life reflections, their developing sense of who they are becoming. Session summaries saved to the Life Reflection record. Never accessed by the Organisation Brain. Private to the learner.

PLA — Organisation Brain
PMC Learning Agent

Cell-facing. Reads Learning Progress documents and Quest Journals across all learners in the cell. Generates pattern-level insights for the mentor: which Quest types lead to strong completion, which Bootcamp approaches work for which learner profiles, what mentor interventions correlate with breakthroughs. Processes on mentor request — does not continuously monitor. Never reads PLN records.

Configuration guides for PAT, PQT, PLN, and PLA on Gemini, ChatGPT, and equivalent platforms are in the Cell Setup Guide at peconaqri.org. Each agent is configured as a separate AI context (Gemini Gem, custom GPT, or equivalent) with distinct system instructions for its specific role.

7. The Peconaqri Trio — Calendar, Map, Shield

The Peconaqri Trio is a set of three foundational tools that structure the learner's engagement with the Cube of Life across time. They are Tier 2 Peconaqri resources available at peconaqri.org.

Peconaqri Calendar

The awakening tool. The Calendar is not a planner — it is a reminder of where in time the learner actually is. Built around three concentric rings, it teaches three things simultaneously. The 60-Year Generation Cycle (GC) places the learner inside the relay of human generations — making visible that their life is finite, that it was handed to them by players who came before, and that they will hand it forward to players not yet born. The 10-Step Nature Mode (NM) cycle — Life, Energy, Air, Matter, Water, each in a Real and Invisible phase — reminds the learner that they are living on a Spaceship Earth whose natural systems have been cycling through their own transformations long before any human arrived. The 12-Part Sky Sector (SS) locates the learner beneath a moving sky, connecting them to the cosmic scale of the universe they inhabit. At the centre of all three rings is the Cosmic Origin — the linear dimension of time, a reminder that while cycles repeat, the player moving through them does not. Used at the start of each Quest cycle to anchor the learner in the larger story before they engage with their own.

Peconaqri Map

The orienting tool. The Map frames the Game of Life stage through its three essential territories. The Person domain is the player themselves — their inner life, values, skills, identity, and the NPC-to-PC awakening journey they are on. Every player begins in the NPC state by default: that is how their avatar body enters the world, and their early experiences and social programming unfold within the community they are born into. Once awakened, they need to navigate the full game world intentionally. The Community domain is the other players — family, school, organisations, society — the majority operating in the default NPC state, a minority in the PC state. The Nature domain is the Game World itself: the physical and ecological reality governed by mathematical, biological, chemical, and physical laws that the player did not design and cannot override. Each domain has a visible Real dimension and an invisible inner layer. The Map is not a classifier — it is a lens for clear seeing, a way of asking "what kind of terrain am I actually dealing with?" before any response. Used at Quest Seed to locate the question within the terrain, and at Reflection to review where actual growth has happened.

Peconaqri Shield

The action tool — the instrument that keeps a learner awake and moving against the constant pull of drift. The Shield carries two mottos describing a two-stage process. The first stage is the inner motto: Ask, Choose, Act. This is the questioning process that generates the "question seed" — the deliberate inquiry that interrupts drift and commits the learner to a genuine question they care about. Ask is not passive curiosity: it is the active interrogation of what genuinely matters, leading to a Choose (selecting the question or project to pursue) and an Act (committing to it). The second stage is the outer motto: Think, Act, Learn, Iterate — the execution cycle that takes the question seed and grows it into a completed, presented project. Together the two mottos describe the full arc from waking up a question to presenting a result. Without the Shield, even an awake, well-oriented learner will drift back into NPC mode. Staying awake is an active practice; the Shield is the daily reminder of the process that makes it possible.

The Trio can be introduced at a simple practical level for students beginning their first Quest cycle, while deeper Peconaqri materials explore its full symbolic and life-orientation meaning. Begin with the Calendar and Shield; add the Map once the learner has completed their first cycle and has a clearer sense of where they are in their journey. 8. PLIF — the Peconaqri Life Integration Framework

PLIF is Peconaqri's personal information architecture — a structured filing system for the whole life, organised across the six faces of the Cube of Life. PLIF gives the learner a home for every document, record, project, and reflection that belongs to their life, rather than the fragmented, platform-dependent data scattered across apps and services that most people currently live with.

PLIF has four profile variants designed for different life stages and contexts: the Student Profile (seven folders), the Professional Profile (ten folders), the Family Profile (fourteen folders), and the Business Profile (ten folders). PLIF resources and setup guides are available at peconaqri.org.

The current Peconaqri reference stack implements PLIF in Google Workspace (Google Drive as the primary file store) with Gemini Gems as the four AI agents (PAT, PQT, PLN, PLA) and Google NotebookLM for deep research synthesis across the learner's own documents. This is the canonical Peconaqri AI ecosystem — chosen for its data sovereignty properties (the learner's documents stay in their own Google account) and its accessibility. It is a recommendation, not a requirement. Equivalent stacks can be built using other cloud platforms, or using locally hosted storage (such as Obsidian with markdown files) paired with local or private AI models — provided the data sovereignty principle is preserved: records live in learner-controlled storage, not in the AI platform.

9. The three tiers — how the Peconaqri ecosystem works

Tier 1 — Independent Open PMC Operators: Communities that implement the Open PMC Protocol in their own vocabulary, using their own resources. No Peconaqri content required. The protocol specification is at peconaq.org under CC BY 4.0. A Muslim cell using ghafla and taqwā, a Buddhist cell using avidyā and bodhi-citta, a government school using System 1 and System 2 — all Tier 1. Completely free, completely open.

Tier 2 — Peconaqri-Resource Users: Communities that use Peconaqri's educational resources — Game of Life, NPC/PC, Cube of Life, Hero-in-Training, the Peconaqri Trio, PLIF — freely under CC BY-SA 4.0. Free to use, free to adapt; adaptations shared under the same terms. Community platform and resources at peconaqri.org. Tier 2 operators may state publicly that their programme uses Peconaqri materials. They may not use the Peconaqri brand mark or logo, which are reserved for Tier 3.

Tier 3 — Peconaqri-Affiliated Centres: Formally affiliated centres that carry the Peconaqri brand mark, meet quality standards, and operate under a licence agreement with Peconaq Inc. PTEK (Pusat Tuisyen Era Kecerdasan) in Malaysia is the pilot Tier 3 centre. The formal affiliation programme is in development. Expression of interest at peconaqri.com.

The brand boundary is the pedagogical vocabulary boundary. A Peconaqri-branded centre commits to using the Game of Life, NPC/PC, and Cube of Life vocabulary as its core pedagogical language. Communities that prefer a different vocabulary should use the Tier 1 Open PMC pathway — which is equally valid as an implementation of the protocol. A cell that uses the Peconaqri brand mark while implementing a different vocabulary misrepresents itself to learners and families.

10. Licensing, IP, and how to use these resources

Peconaqri educational resources — including all Game of Life, NPC/PC, Cube of Life, Hero-in-Training, Peconaqri Trio, and PLIF materials — are published under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0). You are free to use and adapt these resources, provided you attribute the source and share any adaptations under the same CC BY-SA terms.

Peconaqri resources are CC BY-SA (rather than CC BY) so that improvements to shared Peconaqri educational materials remain part of the commons and benefit all users — not just the organisation that improved them.

Commercial use of Peconaqri educational resources is permitted under CC BY-SA 4.0. Commercial use of the Peconaqri brand name, brand mark, and logo is different — these require a separate licence agreement with Peconaq Inc. The brand is not included in the CC BY-SA licence.

The following terms are intellectual property of Peconaq Inc. and are not included in the CC BY-SA licence: the Peconaqri brand name and logo, Peconaqri Cell (as a branded designation), PTEK, Peconaqri Academy (reserved for directly operated centres), and the PAT/PQT/PLN/PLA acronyms as Peconaqri-specific agent names. Generic descriptive terms — Personal Mentoring Cell, Organisation Brain, Quest Seed, Bootcamp, Intentionality Phase — are open protocol terms, not exclusive Peconaqri trademarks.

No trademark registration for "Peconaqri" is currently held. Common-law intellectual property — IP rights established through consistent, public, documented use without formal registration — is established through timestamped publication records at drleejin.substack.com. This is an interim position; formal trademark registration is intended when resources permit. Commercial use of the Peconaqri brand requires a licence agreement with Peconaq Inc.
